Itinerary
- Day 1
Umoljani to Lukomir
Start in Umoljani village cemetery and begin your hike toward Gradina summer village. You have two options for the route: take the lower path that follows Studeni stream with views overlooking Rakitnica Gorge, or push yourself harder and go over Obalj peak. Either way you choose, you'll end up in Lukomir, which sits at 1,469 meters and is Bosnia's highest village. The place has traditional culture and good mountain views to take in.

- Day 2
Bjelasnica to Visocica Mountains
Head back toward Umoljani in the morning, then start a steep descent into Rakitnica Gorge. You'll cross a suspension bridge that goes over the Rakitnica River, and after that comes a challenging climb up the other side to reach Bobovica village. From Bobovica, the trail takes you across open meadows where Visocica mountain range dominates the view. The route continues on to your next place to stay.

Mount Visocica - Vito and Drstva Peaks
The final day involves hiking through beech forests at high altitude until you reach Vito's natural amphitheater and summit at 1,960 meters. From up there, you'll see in all directions for 360 degrees. Then move along the summit ridge to Drstva peak at 1,808 meters and come back down through the forests to Tusila village. Grab lunch at the hut there, and then get a transfer back to Sarajevo.
