Torres del Paine National Park

Torres del Paine National Park

Torres del Paine National Park to El Calafate
You'll cross into Argentina and drive to El Calafate, gateway to Los Glaciares National Park. The town's named after a local berry that's said to bring you back to Patagonia if you eat one. You'll settle in for three nights here.

El Calafate
A cruise on Lake Argentino gets you close to Perito Moreno Glacier, where massive ice blocks calve into the water below. After that you'll walk the boardwalk for views across the huge glacier and see why this place is World Heritage-listed.

El Calafate to Ushuaia

Rise early to catch the sunrise over the falls. Tour the Brazilian side from the walkway viewing 275 individual cascades across a four-kilometer cliff. Lunch is inside the national park with great views, then you'll take a jet boat ride toward the falls' base feeling the spray.
