- Day 1
Bastia
You'll arrive in Bastia, the main city in northern Corsica. Spend your time wandering around the old port, which you can access freely, and the citadel area. The old town has nice views out toward the sea, and the harbor really comes alive in the evening with a good atmosphere for an evening walk or dinner.

- Day 2
Bastia to Saint-Florent
Your first cycling day on the GT20 heads north along the coast to Cap Corse. The route takes you to Macinaggio and then up to Serra Pass at 366m, where you'll see the famous Mattei Mill. After that it's a descent down the western side through small villages with dramatic sea and mountain scenery. You'll finish the day in Saint-Florent, a harbor town on the northwestern coast.

- Day 3
Saint-Florent to Calvi
From Saint-Florent you cross the wild landscape of the Agriates region to reach Vezzu Pass at 311m. The descent that follows winds through fragrant scrubland on quiet roads. Later you climb toward Novella and Croce Pass at 511m, then continue over San Colombano Pass into the Balagne area. The final section has you cycling through Feliceto, Muro, and Cateri before arriving in Calvi.

Calvi to Porto
Starting from Calvi, you follow the coast along the rugged Revellata cliffs with great sea views throughout. Then the route turns inland into the wild L'Argentella area and toward Fango Valley. If you want, there's a possible detour to the coastal village of Galéria. Climbing to Palmarella Pass at 408m gives sweeping views of the Gulf of Girolata. After that comes a final section with views of the Scandola nature reserve before you descend into Porto.

Porto to Corte
This is a high-altitude cycling day through villages like Evisa, which is known for its chestnut production, and the Aïtone forest. You'll ride through the remote Niolu area and pass through Albertacce, Casamaccioli, and Calacuccia, which sits near a large reservoir. The scenic Scala di Santa Regina route then brings you to Corte for the night.

- Day 6
Corte to Zicavo
An intense mountain stage takes you through chestnut forests with the famous Col de Verde climb at 1289m. You'll reach Zicavo, a typical Corsican mountain village at 750m altitude that's known for its traditional sausage specialties. The setting is in a wild valley, and the summer temperatures here are pleasant despite the elevation.

Zicavo to Bonifacio
Starting in Zicavo, you cycle 15km to Col de la Vaccia, then descend to Aulène where you can take a break. The route continues through the Alta Rocca villages and over Bacino Pass at 809m to Chera. The final 10km follows the main road into Bonifacio, where your cycling journey finishes.

Bonifacio
After breakfast you'll finish up your trip. Return the bikes to Bastia on your own, or if you're in Bonifacio, you can arrange a pick-up service. Transfers can be organized from there to Figari, Bastia, or wherever you need to go next based on your travel plans.
