Jerusalem
You'll arrive at the airport and get transferred to your hotel in Jerusalem. Take time to settle in and rest up before the days ahead.

- Day 2
Jerusalem
Start with breakfast, then walk through Jerusalem's New City to see the Museum of Israel with its Dead Sea Scrolls display and a model of Jerusalem during Jesus's time. From there you'll head to the Hebrew University and on to Ein Karen. Later, you'll visit Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum. In the afternoon, cross into Bethlehem with a Palestinian guide to see the Church of the Nativity and Shepherds' Field before heading back to Jerusalem.

Jerusalem
Start your exploration of Jerusalem's Old City from Mount Scopus with views over the walled Holy City. Head to the Mount of Olives and Gethsemane to see the Basilica of the Agony, then walk through the Old City including the Western Wall, Via Dolorosa, Church of the Holy Sepulcher, and Mount Zion with the Tomb of King David and Hall of the Last Supper.

- Day 4
Jerusalem to Amman
After breakfast, head out early to the Israel-Jordan border at Sheik Hussein Bridge to complete border procedures. You'll enter Jordan and check out the 12th-century Fortress of Ajlun and the historic Church of Saint Sergius, where Muslims and Orthodox Christians have lived together for centuries. Then visit the impressive Roman site at Jerash before traveling to Amman for the night.

Amman
Head out to the Desert Castles from the 7th and 8th centuries, visiting Qasr Kharana and the World Heritage Site Qusayr Amra with its remarkable frescoes. You'll travel to Madaba for lunch and explore the Archaeological Park via an ancient Roman road, see the Church of St. George with its 6th century mosaic map of the Holy Land, and Mount Nebo where Moses looked over the Promised Land before returning to Amman.

Dead Sea
Leave for Bethany on the banks of the River Jordan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where John the Baptist baptized Jesus. You'll visit the Dead Sea Museum with its impressive Panorama Complex, then arrive at your hotel to take a dip in the saltiest sea and lowest altitude on earth.

Dead Sea to Petra
You'll ascend the historic King's Road and explore the impressive 12th-century Karak Castle, one of the region's most important fortresses. Continue through the stone village of Dana perched on a cliff, then head to Wadi Musa around Petra. See Moses Spring and the Petra Museum before settling in at your hotel. Optional activities include a Turkish bath or light and sound show.

- Day 8
Petra to Wadi Rum
Explore the incredible archaeological site of Petra, accessed through a narrow canyon to discover temples and tombs carved into the cliffs. After lunch, head to Wadi Rum desert where you'll board 4x4 vehicles for desert landscapes, a 45-minute camel ride, and a visit to Khazali Canyon to see ancient engravings about the origins of Arabic language. The day ends in a desert camp.

Cairo
Explore Cairo's famous Pyramids of Cheops, Kefren and Micerinos, and the impressive Sphinx carved from rock. Visit the Egyptian Museum with its ancient art and the treasures from Tutankhamen's tomb. Then check out the Citadel of Saladin, the Alabaster Mosque, and walk through the Coptic neighborhood to see the Hanging Church built above a Roman fortress.
