Itinerary

Kathmandu
Start your day heading to Bhaktapur Durbar Square where you'll walk through centuries-old temples and traditional architecture that make up this historic plaza. The intricate wood carvings and brick structures give you a real sense of Nepal's cultural heritage. From there, you'll drive to Nagarkot hill station, which sits at about 7,000 feet and offers views across the Kathmandu Valley and the Himalayan range. The whole day takes roughly four to five hours depending on how much time you spend exploring each spot and your walking pace. Bring comfortable shoes since you'll do plenty of walking through narrow lanes and around the square.
