Seoul
You'll land at Seoul Airport and get settled into your accommodation. This is your first evening in South Korea's capital, so after you check in, you can take it easy and get oriented with the neighborhood around your hotel.

- Day 2
Seoul
Start with the Blue House, the official presidential residence positioned against Bugaksan Mountain. From there, head to Gyeongbokgung Palace, which served as the main royal palace starting in 1395. After lunch, you'll travel to Gyeongju, the ancient Silla Dynasty capital, and spend the afternoon checking out the historical and cultural sites there.

- Day 3
Gyeongju - Daegu
This morning you'll see Bulguksa Temple and Seokguram Grotto, both UNESCO World Heritage sites with Silla Dynasty architecture. Then visit Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond, and head to the Gyeongju National Museum to look through their collection of Silla artifacts. Later, you'll travel to Daegu and spend time in the Dongseongno Shopping District, which has a lively energy to it.

- Day 4
Daegu - Andong - Sokcho
You'll experience Korea's countryside with a visit to Andong Hahoe Village, a UNESCO-listed location that preserves traditional architecture and heritage from earlier periods. After that, continue on to Sokcho Daepo Port, a scenic coastal village known for its fishing culture and fresh seafood markets where you can grab lunch or dinner.

- Day 5
Seoraksan - Seoul
Mount Seoraksan National Park is up next, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve with rare flora and fauna across its beautiful landscapes. You'll visit Sinheungsa Temple and take the cable car up to Gweongeumseong Fortress for views across the mountains. Later, head back to Seoul to walk through the antique shops of Isa-dong and Bukchon Hanok Village, where traditional houses line the streets.

Take a trip to the Demilitarized Zone to see North Korea's 3rd Infiltration Tunnel, located northwest of Seoul. On the way back, stop at the Amethyst Center to see gemstones. If DMZ access isn't available, you'll visit Imjingak Resort instead, so the itinerary adjusts based on what's open that day.
