More specific information on the hotel choices, beach, jungle, hotel names 3 of 4 star - can I choose. More explanation needed on the boat transfers. Is it a boat taxi where we bring our luggage to the new location. Is it wildlife and scenic viewing or transportation only and how long are the boat rides. Do we transfer to a shuttle van or bus to get to the hotels? Are the guide English speaking. The details are very few.

    Transport
    • Receptivo Aborigen ToursOperatorWritten December 2025

Boats are not simple water taxi,; luggage is transported with you at all times. In Tortuguero, the boat rides are both scenic and wildlife-oriented, offering opportunities to observe tropical flora, birds, reptiles, and other wildlife along the canals. Boat ride durations vary between 45 minutes to approximately 1.5 hours, depending on the route. After each boat segment, connections are made seamlessly with shuttle vans or buses to reach the respective hotels. Professional local guides are English speaking, during guided excursions, especially in Tortuguero.
