Stefan was a great host and tour guide! He was warm, funny, and knowledgeable. I appreciate all of the history he imbued on us as we imbibed and traveled. I love the additional historical sites we were able to see both on and off Islay. I think the tour was well paced, even though I wanted to do even more distilleries, my liver agrees with the pace of the tour. Ha! The Lambeth lodging that I was at was the absolute most charming place and would love to stay here in the future. I would absolutely do this or a similar tour again with Scottish Routes and with Stefan. I highly recommend this experience!Show more

Majit was a superb guide, extraordinary storyteller, and fabulous traveling companion. He made each whisky distillery tour special knowing the people at each one and a lot about the whiskies. The stay at the Bowmore bed and breakfast was delightful. The food was excellent and the room was clean, cozy and very comfortable. Andrew and Allison were perfect hosts. We enjoyed the cultural stops and the history talks as we drove. The country really came alive for us in ways we hadn’t expected!Show more

For tours departing after June 26th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Scottish Routes. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
