Majit was a superb guide, extraordinary storyteller, and fabulous traveling companion. He made each whisky distillery tour special knowing the people at each one and a lot about the whiskies. The stay at the Bowmore bed and breakfast was delightful. The food was excellent and the room was clean, cozy and very comfortable. Andrew and Allison were perfect hosts. We enjoyed the cultural stops and the history talks as we drove. The country really came alive for us in ways we hadn’t expected!

We had a fantastic time on Scotland Culinary. The tour offered a wonderful combination of Scottish culture, beautiful landscapes, historic attractions, and memorable culinary experiences. The route from Glasgow to Edinburgh was especially enjoyable because every day brought something different. Loch Lomond was stunning, and the cruise with ale tasting was a fun experience. We also loved visiting the whisky region in Speyside and learning about the traditions behind Scottish whisky production. The haggis-making demonstration was one of the most entertaining activities of the trip. Edinburgh was a beautiful way to finish the journey. Overall, the itinerary was well balanced and gave us plenty of opportunities to discover Scotland beyond the usual tourist highlights.

I had four awesome days with Scottish Routes in speyside. The group was nice, the guide really good and patient. He drove us safely though it rained heavily for most of the time. If I would have been driving there, I would probably have suffered from a nervous breakdown after 2 hours. But Nick was totally cool. We visited so many distilleries, had very interesting tasting with a lot of variation (blind tasting at Aberlour, old cask from closed down distilleries at Royal Lochnagar, which we could choose, special and very rare bottles at Glenfarclas, and so on and on). It was not cheap, but worth every penny. The Haus Alba B&B was the best place I ever stayed on vacation. The weather could have been better, but that is not on Scottish Routes ;-)
