The tour was really insightful and had a great mixture of culture and fun. The tour guides were all great and very helpful. When I first arrived in Shanghai I was quite overwhelmed by the culture shock but I was soon put at ease. The group sizes are great as well and really allow you to make close bonds! I ended up travelling Australia with some now life long friends. I really recommend Dragon Trip. However, be prepared to spend extra on activities. So make sure you have extra spending money as it would be a shame to miss out! Highlights for me- definitely camping on the Great Wall! An amazing experience few are lucky enough to have!!

Had an amazing time on the China trip. Everything is organised for you so no worrying about trains/buses/hostels while you're travelling. Good size group and you fit so much in during the month I really feel like we made the most of it! Would definitely go with Dragon Trip again!

It is extremely hard to communicate in China, therefore having the tour guides and transport already organised makes the trip run so much more smoothly and you make good use of your time there. The activities and attractions you get to visit are brilliant and really stand out in my memories from my whole trip. Camping on the Great Wall was definitely a highlight which no other tourist gets to experience. All the accommodation was nice and the tour guides were fantastic. They were knowledgeable, friendly and had a great sense of humour. This truly is an unmissable trip which you won't regret booking. I would do it all over again! Thank you Dragon Trip.

This was one of the best experiences of my life! It was amazing to see the diversity of cities in Eastern China. One of my favorite memories was being able to kayak on the li river in YangShuo. I also loved being amble to talk to and sometimes serve the local people. I would do all of it again in a minute

It was an amazing trip! De guides were very nice, and around our ages. We had a lot of fun with most of them! The traveling was nice with the train. It is nice when everyone is around the same place in the train, so we can talk with each other. The things we have seen were fantastic! thank you for this great trip and new friends!

Questions & Answers

Here we have collected and answered the most frequently asked questions about this tour.

    • December 21, 2016

Do I need a sleeping bag or is linen supplied in the hostels?

All bedding – including sleeping bags and mats during Great Wall camping – is provided

    • December 21, 2016

What is the standard of accommodation?

All of the hostels are clean, air-conditioned or have fans, are safe, have good showers, internet, washing machines and most importantly, have real Chinese character. People who stay at hostels are usually young people aged 18 to 35 who are travelling on a smaller budget than people staying at hotels. So it is easy to make friends and fun to hang out at the bar (all the hostels we stay at have cool bars and lounging areas to hang out). If you would like to stay in a private room though, that is absolutely possible as well as we have room upgrades available at the time of purchase.

What are people saying about TourRadar?

    • Charmaine28th January 2018
Easy to use use website. All the options can be seen on one page. What I liked most, as a solo traveller, is that I did not have to request a quote. The latter meaning that my search and organisation has to stop for 24-48hours. With TourRadar the single supplement came up instantly allowing you to make decisions on the spot and save valuable time.
