Tashkent
You'll arrive in Tashkent and meet your guide after breakfast. From there, head to Khast-Imam Square to see the ancient madrasahs and mausoleums that form the city's spiritual core. The Chorsu Bazaar comes next, where you can walk through the colorful stalls and soak in the local energy. After lunch, you'll check out Independence Square and Amir Temur Square, then ride the Tashkent Metro, which has ornate stations that feel like art galleries.

Tashkent to Khujand
This morning you're driving toward the Uzbek-Tajik border at Oybek to handle border formalities. Once that's sorted, you'll continue on to Khujand, one of Central Asia's oldest cities. When you arrive, there's time to explore the Panjshanbe Bazaar, check out the Museum of Khujand, and walk around the historic fortress walls.

- Day 3
Khujand to Penjikent
After breakfast in Khujand, you'll drive to Istaravshan, a city with over 2,500 years of history and an important stop on the old Silk Road. You'll walk through its bustling bazaars, see the Kuk-Gumbaz Mosque, and wander the traditional caravanserai-style markets. Later, you're heading into the mountains toward Penjikent, known as the 'Pompeii of Central Asia,' where ancient Sogdian ruins wait to be discovered.

- Day 4
Penjikent to Samarkand
You'll start with Sarazm ruins, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that dates back over 5,500 years. Next comes the Rudaki Museum for a look at the work of the famous Persian poet, then you'll browse the local bazaar. In the afternoon, you're heading into the Fan Mountains to see six of the Seven Lakes of Marguzor, known for their sapphire and turquoise colors. You'll do some short walks and have a traditional lunch at a local family home. Later, you'll cross back into Uzbekistan at the Jartepa border and continue on to Samarkand.

- Day 5
Samarkand
Samarkand is your focus today, starting with Registan Square and its three grand madrasahs, Ulugbek, Sher-Dor, and Tilla-Qori, each a masterpiece of Islamic architecture. You'll visit the Gur-e Amir Mausoleum with its turquoise dome, where Tamerlane is buried. After lunch, you're checking out the Bibi-Khanym Mosque, wandering through Shah-i-Zinda Necropolis with its vibrant blue-tiled mausoleums, and visiting the Ulugbek Observatory where stars were once charted.

Samarkand
You'll go deeper into Samarkand's history by visiting the Afrosiab Museum and archaeological site, which reveals the city's ancient past before the Timurid era. Then you're seeing the tomb of Saint Daniel, a pilgrimage site honored by Muslims, Christians, and Jews. You'll also explore the Khujum carpet factory and silk paper workshop to see how age-old crafts are still made today. By evening, head to the Siab Bazaar to see spices, dried fruits, nuts, and handicrafts before returning to your hotel to relax.

Samarkand to Bukhara
After breakfast, you're heading to the railway station to catch the morning train across the steppe to Bukhara, departing at 09:55 and arriving at 11:38. Once there, you'll explore this legendary Silk Road city and visit the Ismail Samani Mausoleum, Chashma Ayub Mausoleum, the local bazaar, Bolo Khauz Mosque, the Ark Citadel with its Zindan prison, Po-i-Kalyan Complex, Miri Arab Madrasa, Magoki Attori Mosque, and Ulugbek Madrasa.

- Day 8
Bukhara
This morning you're heading outside the city walls to see atmospheric sites like the Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa Palace, the luxurious summer residence of the last emir, the Chor Bakr Necropolis known as the 'City of the Dead,' and the Mausoleum of Bakhouddin Naqshbandi, a revered Sufi pilgrimage spot. You'll come back to Bukhara for a free afternoon to wander the old town on your own. In the evening, you're visiting a traditional local home for a cultural experience where you'll learn how to make plov, Uzbekistan's most famous dish, and then share dinner with the family.

- Day 9
Bukhara to Tashkent
You're spending the morning exploring more of Bukhara, visiting the beautifully preserved Ismail Samani Mausoleum, one of the oldest brick buildings in the Islamic world, and the nearby Chashma-Ayub Mausoleum. Then you'll walk through the lively bazaar filled with the scent of spices and sparkle of silk, see the graceful Bolo-Khauz Mosque, and visit the mighty Ark Citadel. In the afternoon, you're heading to the train station for a ride back to Tashkent, then transferring to your hotel to rest.
