  Our end destination in Tallin, Estonia made this trip worthwhile! It was extremely picturesque, interesting & the Local guide excellent. The itinerary in Finland was rushed & "relaxed walk arounds" in Turku & Naantalia amounted to a photo stop at a Church in Turku & a toilet stop + a short time in Naantalia. This was followed by a 2.5hour bus trip (with no toilet stop!) in order to reach Helsinki in time for a half hour lunch stop at the port (plenty of great street food!) before boarding the Ferry to UNESCO listed Suomenlinna fortress. (There was a lot of walking in the heat of the day & cobblestones!) This made for an extremely tiring day after an unnecessarily early start on the Viking Glory due to the printed ticket indicating that breakfast time was at 5:30SE. Those of us unfamiliar with the meaning of the SE arrived for breakfast at 5:30 before the Buffet was even open, due to it opening at 6PM Finnish time! ALL of our mobile phones & devices had changed automatically to Finnish time. We were NOT impressed! The other thing that we did not enjoy was long waits in queues for Ferries, only to have younger, taller, more able people come and push in front causing crowd surges.Show more

  The tour guides were very good and provided commentary in English. The Estonia hotel was excellent and the boat crossing and cabin accommodations were of a good standard. The Hotel Globe in Stockholm was too far from the city. Although it was close to the rail station, I would prefer something closer to the centre of the attractions in Stockholm so that I could go back and forth from the hotel easily throughout the day. When booking the tour I would have liked to know that this tour was in Spanish, with English as a secondary language. Most of the travellers spoke Spanish and I could not interact with them.Show more
