Zagreb
A guided walking tour takes you through Zagreb's old quarters, both the Lower and Upper Towns. You'll see St Mark's Church with its colorful tiled roof, the Government Palace, Lotrscak Tower, the Cathedral, and Stone Gate. By afternoon you have free time to check out the Dolac Market or grab lunch at one of the local restaurants and pubs around town.

Zagreb to Plitvice Lakes to Opatija
You head out to Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO site and Croatia's oldest national park. The park has 16 interconnected lakes connected by waterfalls, and you'll walk across wooden boardwalks and forest trails surrounded by green vegetation. Later you'll continue on to Opatija and check into your hotel, with the rest of the evening at your own pace.

Opatija

Afterwards there's time to wander more, have lunch, or relax before heading to the airport on your own.
