- Day 1
Mora
You'll arrive in Mora and get settled into your accommodation for two nights. Take some time to walk through the historic streets on your own, stop by the iconic clock tower, and check out the Igreja da Misericórdia from the 16th century. Whether you try sport fishing, relax at a café, or just soak in the town's quiet atmosphere is entirely up to you.

Mora
This is a full day cycling tour through the Alentejo on mostly unpaved terrain. You'll ride past Gameiro Dam where there are tranquil river beaches, stop at the Miradouro de Pavia viewpoint for views, and see the ancient Aleixa olive tree. Then cycle through shaded paths in Cabecão National Forest before finishing with a river crossing through clear waters.

Casa Branca
The longest stage takes you through the Alentejo on mostly ecovia routes to Casa Branca. You'll ride through forests and grain fields, pass through Cabecão National Forest with its tall pines, explore the charming town of Avis, then tackle gravel paths through cork oak fields before arriving in Casa Branca, which sits surrounded by farmland and olive groves.

Alter do Chão
Start cycling through meadows and pastures, passing the historic bus station in Fronteira. Head to Cabecó de Vide where you can check out the famous thermal baths and ancient Roman ruins. From there, continue through olive and cork oak groves on your way to Alter do Chão, a quiet town that'll be your stop for the night.

Castelo de Vide
Cycle from Alter do Chão to Castelo de Vide along gravel paths, crossing the old Roman bridge Ribeira da Seda. You'll see the impressive menhir of Meada, which stands 7.52 meters high and dates back around 6000 BC. Climb to Penedo Monteiro viewpoint for the views, then explore Castelo de Vide's medieval castle, palaces, fortresses, the Jewish quarter, a synagogue, and historic fountains.

Marvão
Leave Castelo de Vide and cycle through landscapes with rock formations and megalithic sites. You'll ride past Anta de Granja, through prairies on rough gravel roads, then cross the River Sever at the Portugal-Spain border via a footbridge. After that, ride through the Alameda dos Freixos, a natural corridor lined with over 200 centuries-old ash trees, before climbing to Marv ão for panoramic views and medieval architecture.
