Colonia del Sacramento
Early on you head to Colonia del Sacramento, a charming UNESCO World Heritage city where cobblestone streets and the historic quarter wait for you. Walk around the Rambla Costanera, see the old bullring, and check out the Church of San Benito. After lunch, you'll visit a local vineyard to learn how they make wine and participate in a guided tasting.

You'll see the famous 'La Mano Monumental' sculpture at Paseo de las Américas, then drive through neighborhoods with beautiful gardens and mansions. Later, head to CasaPueblo Museum to catch the sunset from Punta Ballena.

Punta del Este - Los Lobos Islands
This morning you board a ferry to Lobos Island, just 8 km offshore, where thousands of sea lions and coastal birds live in their natural habitat. The sail through clear waters gives you scenic coastal views the whole way. In the afternoon, you have time to wander Punta del Este on your own, visit Plaza Artigas for local crafts, or relax at beachfront cafes.

In the afternoon, you head back to Montevideo for a city tour that includes Plaza Independencia, the historic Solís Theater and Estévez Palace, a walk down 18 de Julio avenue, the Legislative Palace, and the Montevideo Agricultural Market in its historic building. You'll finish at José Batlle y Ordoñez Park and end at the Rambla to see the Montevideo sign.
