Shanghai to Zhangjiajie
Your hotel pickup in Shanghai gets you to the airport, then you'll fly out to Zhangjiajie. Once you land, your guide meets you and takes you to your hotel to settle in for the night.

- Day 2
Zhangjiajie National Forest Park
Start early at Zhangjiajie National Forest Park where you'll take the Bailong Elevator, one of the world's tallest outdoor elevators, up to Yuanjiajie. From there you can see the Heaven and Earth pillar, that distinctive rock formation that served as inspiration for Avatar. After that, head to Tianzi Mountain to walk among its quartz stone peaks that formed over 318 million years ago. Later in the afternoon, check out the 10-Mile-Gallery (Shilihualang) with its scenic rock formations and paths.

- Day 3
Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon to Shanghai
Drive to Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon in the morning and choose between walking the glass bottom bridge (the world's longest and tallest) or taking the 1,000-step hill path if you prefer solid ground. Either way, you'll explore the canyon's interior, moving through narrow crevices down to the valley floor where there's a pristine stream and jade lake surrounded by rare vegetation, cliffs, and waterfalls. There's also a 600-meter slide if you want that experience. By evening, you'll fly back to Shanghai and get transferred to your hotel.
