Day 1
Colombo
You'll arrive in Colombo and get transferred to your hotel. This first day in Sri Lanka is about settling in and getting acclimated. Take some time to rest after your journey, and you'll be ready to start exploring the island's highlights over the coming days.

Day 2
Colombo - Kandy
After breakfast, the drive from Colombo to Kandy takes you through the island's interior, and you'll stop at a traditional spice garden in Mawanella along the way. Once in Kandy, you'll check out the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, walk around the lakeside town center, and browse the local markets. Later in the evening, there's a cultural performance showing Sri Lankan traditions before you settle into your hotel for the night.

Kandy to Colombo
You'll have breakfast at the resort, then head back toward Colombo for a city tour. The route takes you through the Racecourse area, into the Pettah district, and out to the Floating Market and Independence Square. After lunch, you'll make your way to the airport for your departure flight.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before March 24th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after March 24th, 2026, a minimum payment of 25% is required to confirm your booking with Tira Travels. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 50 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Tira Travels will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
