Itinerary
- Day 1
Calama to San Pedro de Atacama
You'll land at Calama airport and get driven across the desert to San Pedro de Atacama, an oasis town surrounded by dramatic landscapes. Once you check into your hotel, the afternoon is open for whatever you want to do. Take a walk down Caracoles Street where you'll find local cafes, shops selling handicrafts, and traditional adobe buildings. Licancabur Volcano creates a nice backdrop as you wander around.

- Day 2
Tatio Geysers and Moon Valley
An early start gets you to Tatio Geysers at 4,300 meters, where steam shoots up against the morning sky. Breakfast happens there, and you'll have time to take in the views. On the way back down, keep an eye out for vicu?as, rheas, and flamingos. By afternoon you're heading to Moon Valley to see the salt ridges, dunes, and rock formations that light up at sunset. There's a natural viewpoint at the top if you want to climb up and see the whole area.

San Pedro de Atacama
This day is yours to do as you like in San Pedro de Atacama. The town has a relaxed desert feel that's worth experiencing at your own pace. If you want structure, there are optional activities like visiting Wildo's home to learn about Andean traditions, or you could bike through the Devil's Throat and explore the canyons around town. Or just spend time sitting in a cafe and watching the light change.

Landmarks San Pedro de Atacama Village - Day 4
Eduardo Avaroa Andean Reserve
You'll be picked up from your hotel and driven to the Bolivian border at Hito Cajon. After going through border procedures, a Bolivian guide and driver meet you for a private 4x4 expedition into the Eduardo Avaroa Andean Reserve. You'll see the Green Lagoon with Licancabur Volcano behind it, check out the Dali Desert where wind has carved surreal shapes into the landscape, and soak in natural hot springs at Polques. The day ends in the small community of Villamar.

- Day 5
Uyuni Salt Flats
Start in the Valley of the Stones where massive rock formations look like nature's sculpture garden. Then continue north into the Uyuni Salt Flats and visit Incahuasi Island, which is covered in giant cacti and offers views across the white expanse. You'll watch the sunset right there in the middle of the salt flats before driving to Colchani, where the hotel is built entirely from salt bricks.

- Day 6
Southern Altiplano
After breakfast, you'll drive through lunar-like highland landscapes, crossing vast desert sections and passing colorful lagoons that shift between blue, green, and red tones. Look for flamingos, vicu?as, and vicachas as you travel. By evening you reach a small hotel in a quiet mountain area where you can settle in and enjoy the silence of the Andean night.

- Day 7
Sol de Mañana and Return
Begin at Sol de Ma?ana geysers with their bubbling mud pools and steaming fumaroles at high altitude. Next stop is Polques hot springs where you can soak in naturally heated water. Then you're on to Laguna Colorada, known for its crimson color, white borax islands, and flamingos. After that, head back toward Chile, passing the Green and White lagoons with Licancabur Volcano in view, and finally return to San Pedro de Atacama.
