Itinerary
- Day 1
Lago Agrio to Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve
Your adventure kicks off in Lago Agrio, and from there you'll travel by motorized canoe deep into Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve. Pink river dolphins often surface alongside your boat during the journey. Once you reach the eco-lodge nestled in primary rainforest, you'll have time to settle in before heading out on an evening night walk with your indigenous guide. This is when you'll spot tarantulas, tree frogs, and other nocturnal creatures active after dark.

- Day 2
Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve
A dawn canoe ride takes you through misty waters to Ceibo Lagoon where giant trees reflect off the blackwater surface. After breakfast, you'll trek through Igapó flooded forest while your guide shares knowledge about ancestral plant remedies used for generations. Later you navigate the narrow San Francisco River, which is known for rare bird sightings. By evening, a night canoe ride gets underway where you'll spot caimans' glowing eyes in the darkness.

- Day 3
Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve
Wake up before dawn to see hundreds of colorful parrots arriving at mineral clay licks. Later you'll cruise to La Bocana to observe freshwater dolphins moving between converging rivers. An observation tower wrapped around a 28-meter ceibo tree gives you views of the canopy from above. Then as twilight arrives, you head out on a forest walk where exotic insects and snakes become visible.

The trip wraps up with memories of dolphin encounters, ancient trees, and the cultural connections you've made during your time in the rainforest.
