I'm planning a trip with a friend to Brazil, landing in Rio, from the 1st to the 21st of August, and we're interested in joining a tour with a large number of people our age (30s) to connect and share the experience together while discovering the main beauties, nature, and culture of Rio and Brazil in General. I am interested in this tour and would like to know more details about availability, expected group size during this period, the accommodation set-up, and whether there are any social activities or nights out with the group.

Good: Since this was the first time we have visited Brazil, having the hotel transfer meet us at the airport and take us back to the airport worked well. Our guides ranged from excellent to fine: Juan was our guide at Iguazu. He was excellent, knowledgeable, and personable. I would give him 5 stars! Maria was our guide in Rio. She was friendly and did a great job in getting us to the places that were "must see" spots around the city. I would give her 4 stars. Eduardo was our guide in Sao Paulo. He was knowledgeable about the locations, but was not sensitive to know which places where there was a timed entry (Municipal Theater and Farol Santander (observation deck)). We were able to see the entrance to both buildings, but missed the opportunity to see either of these two iconic locations. I would give him 3 stars. Bad: The hotels may have been considered "luxury" hotels when they were first constructed, but they were old and not as nice as we had expected for the price. The lobby/reception areas looked nice when we arrived, but the buildings themselves were old and we found the rooms to be adequate/marginal, at best. When arriving in Sao Paulo, we learned that most international flights arrive between 5-9am. It would seem that better accommodations would have been made as part of the tour to allow us to check into the hotel upon arrival rather than having to pay extra for the stay. Communications from your company were not very timely.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before November 30th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after November 30th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Aborigen Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 95 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Aborigen Tours will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Aborigen Tours" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
