  Frankly we were not impressed with the location of the hotels, facilities provided by the hotel in Rome. The breakfast in the hotel at Rome was the worst and the room at the hotel on day 1 was very pathetic. Thankfully the STM team upgraded the room on day 2 and that was helpful. The 2nd leg of the tour in Naples was the worst. The hotel location was in a very shady neighbourhood. The hotel was great but the location wasn't safe and ideal for families. The tour operators chosen for the excursions were disorganized ( Capri tour) and were confused about what was to be covered in our tour. This led a chaotic experience on the day tour to Capri. All the included meals in the excursions in Naples were cheap and low quality. Services provided at the stops where meals were organized were below standard. Other tours stopping at the same restaurants were getting served much more superior meals.The main tour organizer team ( STM) had limited control over their agency partners and knowledge of the destinations and that made it extremely hard to check the quality and level of service that were being provided. We kept sharing the feedback each day and the STM team kept offering refund of small amounts to compensate for the bad experience. However, everyday the tours kept making blunders and nothing could be changed to improve the services. While the gesture of a refund is appreciated. it is very hard to come to terms with the fact that the experience has already been compromised and so much time and money has already been spent by travellers. Overall, the tour was way below par and no where close to the experience, we had with another platinum operator of tour radar for a different destination we travelled to. I wouldn't recommend booking this tour to anyone.Show more

However, we understand that, as the tour organizer, we are responsible for selecting our partners, coordinating the services, and doing our best to assist when issues arise. We did our best to support you throughout the trip, including arranging an upgrade to your room in Rome after you raised your concerns and offering compensation where appropriate. We also remained in communication with you during the tour and shared your feedback with the relevant partners. We are especially sorry to hear about your experience in Naples and the Capri excursion. We have taken your comments seriously and have forwarded this feedback to the respective local operators so they can review the organization, communication, meals, and overall quality of service provided. We completely understand your point that compensation cannot fully make up for time spent on a disappointing experience.   The tour guides were great, I love it. Two things I didn’t like are the Hotels, I think you can do it better for the price I paid and I didn’t like that it is not personalized like Europamundo they have their own transportation. With STM I never met in person who was managing my tour and I have to follow directions like if I was going in my own. The rest was good, I appreciate the help received through what’s up. But again I paid for this tour more for the other tour with Europamundo and the different in service was way more better with them.Show more

  This trip was our first ever tour and STM has set the bar very high. STM sent our entire Itinerary on Whatapp and was with us the entire time in that they sent us daily reminders and vouchers for daytrips and were there in real time to help clarify information or help with a problem. The Itinerary was well thought out in terms of activities/day trips and modes of transportation utilized on those activities/day trips. This trip was was good value and exceeded our expectations. All guided tours were awesome.Show more
