Cape Town
Your driver meets you at Cape Town International Airport and takes you to your hotel. Once you've checked in and gotten settled, the rest of the day is yours to wander around the nearby areas and get a sense of South Africa's first city.

- Day 2
Cape Town
Start with a guided tour hitting Cape Town's main landmarks. You'll see the historic Castle of Good Hope first, then move to the District Six Museum to learn about the city's multicultural past. After that, walk through the colorful Bo-Kaap neighborhood with its cobbled streets and painted houses, check out Parliament House and City Hall, stroll through Company's Garden, and visit the Slave Lodge museum. By evening, head up Table Mountain, the flat-topped peak that's iconic to Cape Town's skyline. The guided portion wraps up after that, leaving the rest of your day open.

Cape Town - Cape Point - Simon's Town
Drive to Hout Bay and take a boat out to Duiker Island to see seabirds and fur seals. From there, you'll drive along Chapman's Peak Drive with dramatic coastal views leading to Cape Point, where two oceans meet. Ride the funicular up to the 1860 lighthouse. Continue north along the coast to Simon's Town and Boulders Beach, where you'll see endangered African penguins. Finish at Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden on Table Mountain's eastern slope, one of the world's finest botanical collections, before heading back downtown.

Spend your day in the Cape Winelands checking out top wineries in Paarl, Stellenbosch, and Franschhoek. You'll taste wines at different locations and learn how they're produced in these scenic regions with unique soils and climates.

Cape Town to Port Elizabeth to Lalibela Game Reserve
Catch an early morning 80-minute flight from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth. When you land, your local driver takes you about 1.5 hours to Lalibela Game Reserve, a malaria-free sanctuary known for the Big Five and other wildlife. Check into your lodge, have a welcome drink with your host, and attend an introduction about the safari activities. After some rest, head out on your first game drive with an experienced ranger.

- Day 6
Lalibela Game Reserve
Rise early and head out in open vehicles with your ranger looking for the Big Five plus zebra, impala, wildebeest, eland, blue duiker, rock hyrax, hyena, cheetah, jackal, and lynx. Return to the lodge for breakfast and then relax by the pool or watch birds from the observation deck. Later in the afternoon, you'll go out again for another game drive.
