Itinerary
- Day 1
Lima to Paracas to Ica to Lima
Your hotel pickup gets you to Paracas early where you'll board a speedboat for the Ballestas Islands tour. The boat ride takes you out to see sea lions, penguins, and other marine life while passing the iconic Candelabra formation carved into the hillside. Back on land, you'll explore Paracas National Reserve by go-kart, stopping at Cathedral rock formation, some nice beaches, and fossil sites along the way. From there you head inland to Ica for pisco tasting at a traditional winery where they'll walk you through their production process. Later in the afternoon, you'll get to La Huacachina oasis where the main event is sand dune activities and sandboarding on the massive dunes surrounding the lagoon. After all that, you'll make the drive back to Lima by evening.
