Regarding luggage, you can travel with a suitcase and a backpack. Once you reach the part of the trip with the hiking, you can leave your suitcase at your Lençóis accommodation and take a backpack for the hiking in Chapada Diamantina National Park. Once that part is over, you return to the same Lençóis accommodation, where your suitcase remains.

We had a fantastic trip, even being on a bus for 31 hours added to the experience. The tours were well organised, fun to be on and good value for money, especially the white water rafting in Argentina. The hostels were basic but comfortable and had there own trips and experiences you could join which we did. The only criticism is that I wouldn't have done the Argentinian side of Iguazu Falls, the Brazilian side was a far better experience and enough to see the falls and another day on the other side wasn't needed, replace it with another trip would be my advice. All in all it was a fantastic trip and great value for money. We added a 3 night stay in Manaus in the Amazon on Anaconda island before the trip started, it was a great experience too.Show more
