Our trip was incredibly well-organised, and everything ran so smoothly from start to finish. All the transfers and activities were punctual and seamless, which made the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable. The itinerary was excellent and allowed us to see and explore so much of Brazil within the time we had. The activities in the Amazon were a real highlight and gave us unforgettable memories. We also had an amazing guide in Iguazu, Our touguide was so knowledgeable, friendly, and really made the experience extra special.

We had put together a nice privately guided round trip. The places were all great. Our German-speaking guide could only speak a little German and there were also misunderstandings in English. He was rather hectic and focused on providing the cheapest possible lunch (once even in a canteen full of noisy workers). He was able to show us a lot during game drives and hikes. The picnic at the waterfall was romantic. We didn't let this spoil our travel mood. A three-day excursion in Porto Jofre had not been planned and we were simply "attached" to day trips. The guide on this part of the trip spoke better German, but had no knowledge of nature. Fortunately, as we were out stalking with experienced boat guides, the jaguars (6 different ones in 3 days!!!) and giant otters we spotted made up for the lack of knowledge. After all, we were there to see the animals and not to eat (packed lunch on 3 days was not an option). On the ship Chalana we were spoiled with culinary delights. If you want to observe jaguars in their natural environment, this is the place to be. Insist on filling your own packed lunch like we did, then picnicking next to the jaguar is even more fun. Take warm clothes with you, it was freezing on the fast boat in the morning in August.
