- Day 1
Istanbul to Cappadocia
You'll fly from Istanbul into Cappadocia and head straight to your cave hotel for check-in. After getting settled, the rest of the day is yours to do as you like. Whether you want to rest after travel or wander around the immediate area to get your bearings, it's completely up to you.

Cappadocia
Start early if you're interested in the optional sunrise hot air balloon ride, which gives you a perspective on the otherworldly valleys and rock formations below. After coming back down, a guided tour takes you through several key spots. You'll see the peculiar animal-shaped rocks in Devrent Valley, walk among the fairy chimneys at Pasabag, stop in Avanos to watch pottery demonstrations, tour the historic cave churches at Göreme Open-Air Museum, and make your way up Uçhisar Castle for views across the landscape. By evening you're back at the hotel with free time to decompress.

- Day 3
Cappadocia to Istanbul
This day focuses on southern Cappadocia with a guided tour that includes hiking through Red Valley and Rose Valley to see the colorful rock formations up close. You'll visit Cavusin Village to see the rock-cut houses, then explore an ancient Underground City and its hidden tunnels. There's also a stop at Pigeon Valley for photos. In the afternoon, you'll transfer to the airport and fly back to Istanbul, with a drop-off at your hotel to wrap up the trip.
