Itinerary
- Day 1
Jaipur
Start at Amber Fort early in the morning to walk through its intricate carvings and take in the hilltop views across the landscape. From there, head to Panna Meena Ka Kund to see the hidden stepwell tucked away in the old city. Next, you'll make your way to Jagat Shiromani Ji Temple for some quiet time and spiritual reflection. By midday, drive over to Jal Mahal to photograph this floating palace on Man Sagar Lake, then spend time at City Palace Museum looking through royal artifacts and getting a feel for Jaipur's royal history. Later in the afternoon, check out Jantar Mantar to see the astronomical instruments, then stop by Hawa Mahal to see the iconic pink sandstone structure up close. Try your hand at hand block printing at a local workshop, grab a glass of the famous lassi, and finish your day wandering through Old City bazaars where you'll find small shops, local goods, and hidden corners most tourists miss.
