Itinerary
- Day 1
Jaipur
Start your day at Amber Fort where you'll walk through the royal courtyards and halls, getting a sense of the palace's grand scale. After that, head to Panna Meena Stepwell to see the geometric patterns carved into its walls. From there, you'll check out Jal Mahal sitting on the lake, then tour the City Palace Museum to learn about the royal family's history. Next comes Hawa Mahal with its 953 carved windows, which you can photograph from the front or explore from inside. During the afternoon, visit Jantar Mantar to see the astronomical instruments used for calculations. Later, take a walking tour through the Old City's markets where you can watch traditional block-printing being done by local artisans. By evening, you'll start your 5-hour drive to Agra for an overnight stay.

- Day 2
Agra to New Delhi
Wake up early for a sunrise tour of the Taj Mahal, arriving before most visitors to see how the light changes the marble's color. After spending time there, you'll head back to your hotel for breakfast and a chance to freshen up. Then it's on to Agra Fort, a UNESCO site where you can see the Mughal architecture and learn about the rulers who lived there. Next you'll visit the Baby Taj (Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah) with its marble latticework and quiet gardens that feel less crowded than other monuments. By afternoon, you'll begin your 5-hour drive to New Delhi, heading to your hotel, airport, or railway station depending on your plans.
