This tour was an excellent, fast discovery of several major Central European cities over the festive period. I took my 17 year old son. I liked the freedom to do what you liked every day, joining some group walks or dinners or not. The only issue I had on this tour was that we were not given adequate notice for booking certain things- they were sold out. So if you are going over the festive period then do your own research beforehand if you want to book things. The guide Mikael was super positive and full of energy and always willing to guide us in the cities, and seemed great at connecting with everyone on the tour. We were a mixed bunch of older singles, younger singles, and two mother-teenager pairs. It was a fabulous time to visit these cities, albeit very cold and we saw many Christmas markets- only Vienna was disappointing as they closed on December 24th before we arrived. My favourite citues were Krakow and Vienna.Show more

Overall the tour was great. Our CEO went above and beyond to make it enjoyable for everyone. We did have an issue with the transportation. Considering it was a winter trip there should have been some above seat storage for coats, hats, gloves etc. as the seating was very tight, the temperature varied depending on direction of the sun and to have winter coats on our laps for longer rides was not comfortable. We also thought the back seat having 4 people was not comfortable (person size and familiarity was an issue). And a few of the lunch stops could have been shorter giving more time to visit the days sites.Show more

  If I book, a request will be sent to the hotel for single accommodation. If not available then I would either pay double or possibly be assigned a room mate. Is that correct? Are any other Oct dates available with single supplement?
