Athens
You'll arrive in Athens whenever works for your schedule. There are no activities planned during the day, so you can head to your hotel, rest up, or wander around the city on your own. Later this evening, there's a welcome meeting where you'll meet your CEO and the other travelers joining the trip.

- Day 2
Athens
After breakfast, join a guided walking tour heading to the Parthenon and Acropolis with a stop at Shedia Home, a local nonprofit cafe. The afternoon is yours to do what you want - the Acropolis Museum, Ancient Agora, or National Archaeological Museum are all options if you're interested. Come evening, you'll take part in a cooking class with a local chef and then eat the food you've made for dinner.

Athens to Meteora
You'll travel north from Athens to Kalampaka by bus and train, which becomes your base for seeing Meteora. The monasteries sit on top of massive rock pillars that rise high from the landscape - it's a remarkable geological formation that you'll get to see firsthand during this journey.

Meteora
This day is completely free for you to explore at your own pace. If you want to visit the monasteries on the mountaintops, you can take a local bus or pre-book a guided hiking tour with a local guide to explore them on foot. The choice of how to spend your time is entirely yours.

Meteora to Delphi
After breakfast, you'll head to Thermopylae and its Information Centre to learn about the ancient battle that happened there. From there, you'll drive through mountain scenery around Mt Parnassos to reach Delphi. An orientation walk comes first, then a tour of the ancient city with a local guide. Later, the evening is free so you can walk around the charming town or sit at a cafe with views of the valley.

In the evening, explore on your own or choose to climb up to Acronafplia fortress if you want great views of the city and sea.

Athens to Volos
You'll leave Athens in the morning and drive to Volos with a quick stop at Thermopylae. Once there, take an orientation walk with your CEO, then have free time to settle in. Come evening, a local guide will take you on a cultural walk that stops at 2 different taverns where you'll sample meze - small plates that serve as a light dinner.

Volos
Today brings village-to-village exploration from Volos. You'll head to Milies and take a short hike to a cave, then stop by a women's co-op in Vizitsa. Next is Pinakates, and later you'll spend time at the beach in Kato Gatzea before heading back to Volos in the evening. Each place shows you something different about life in this part of Greece.

Kavala to Istanbul
After breakfast, you'll depart Kavala and drive east to Alexandropoli. Your CEO will take you on a short walk to explore the area, then you'll have some time for lunch before heading toward the Turkish border and continuing on to Istanbul, where you'll arrive in the evening.

Istanbul to Canakkale
An early morning visit to Gallipoli comes first, where a guided tour takes you through ANZAC Cove, war cemeteries, and Lone Pine to understand the difficult history of the WWI Battle of Gallipoli. In the afternoon, you'll move on to Canakkale, a busy harbor town with a strong student population.

Canakkale to Selcuk
You'll leave Canakkale to visit the ancient city of Troy. From there, head to Ayvalik to see a women's handicraft cooperative supported by the organization. Later, you'll travel south to Selcuk where you'll stay for the next couple of nights.

Selcuk to Izmir
This morning, explore Ephesus including the Temple of Artemis, one of the seven ancient wonders. Back in Selcuk, learn how to make pide (traditional Turkish flatbread) and enjoy it for lunch. Later, you'll transfer to Izmir for an orientation walk through the old Kemeralti bazaar, then board an overnight train heading to Cappadocia.

Konya to Cappadocia
You'll disembark the train in Konya and grab breakfast at a nearby restaurant. After visiting the Mevlana Museum, a private vehicle takes you to Cappadocia and your hotel. Have tea or coffee while watching the sunset from a nearby viewpoint, then there's an optional group dinner in the evening.

Come evening, you'll share a meal with a local family to learn about the culture here.
