Jakarta
Today you're exploring Jakarta, Indonesia's busy capital. Start by checking out the largest mosque in Southeast Asia, then head to a neo-Gothic cathedral. From there, walk through the charming cobblestone streets of the old colonial town. Later, you'll see the historic harbor with its traditional ships. Dinner happens at a local warung on Sabang street where you can try authentic local food.

Jakarta to Bandung
You'll travel southeast to Bandung and start with a traditional Sundanese family-style lunch. After eating, head to the Geological Museum to learn about the region's natural heritage. Stop at Gedung Sate for some photos, then you have free time to walk around Jalan Asia Afrika and see what catches your interest in the area.

Bandung
This day is yours to spend however you want in Bandung. If you're interested, optional activities include hiking at Tangkuban Prahu volcano or Kawah Putih crater, which both offer easy trails. You can combine either of these with a visit to a local tea plantation where you'll have lunch and do some tea tasting.

Bandung to Semarang
You'll leave Bandung and drive to Semarang, getting there in the early afternoon. Once you arrive, explore the city's charming Dutch architecture and visit a historic Chinese temple. Wander through the historic downtown area and try Lumpia, a local specialty that's basically a delicious Javanese spring roll.

Semarang to Dieng Plateau
You're leaving Semarang and heading into the central Java mountains this morning. The drive takes you toward Mount Ungaran where Gedong Songo Temple sits on the slopes, a Hindu temple with some real history to it. After exploring the temple grounds and taking in the views, you'll head over to the Ambarawa Train Museum where they've got historic locomotives on display. It's a good stop if you're interested in how rail transport developed in the region. Later in the afternoon you'll continue on to Wonosobo in the Dieng Plateau area. You'll have the evening free once you arrive, so it's a chance to settle in and rest up after the day of traveling and sightseeing.

Wonosobo
Your CEO will guide you through the Dieng Plateau today. You'll see colorful Telaga Warna Lake, the misty Arjuna Temple, and the sulphurous Si Kidang Crater. By evening, head to Wonosobo town square where locals hang out at food vendor stalls, so you can try different foods and get a real feel for the place.

Wonosobo to Yogyakarta
You'll stop at Selogriyo Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to the Goddess of Fertility. There's an uphill scenic walk through the complex that you'll do. After that, you'll continue on to Yogyakarta where your tour ends when you arrive.
