I traveled through Japan 9 days 11 destinations and had several different guides, but one in particular truly stood out—his name was Ken or Rai. I was the youngest in the group 23 , with most travelers being elderly, and he made such an interesting story about every place that we visited that I’ve never felt bored. Ken has an incredible depth of knowledge and speaks three languages fluently, which is honestly so impressive. He’s personality and storytelling really made me remember historical facts and ways to get to meeting point, to not get lost😅 I only got to spend a couple of days with him, but really wish he had been our main guide throughout the whole trip—I feel like I would’ve connected even more deeply with the country through his stories and insight. Beyond his knowledge, what really struck me was how much he cared. He constantly made sure everyone was present, fed, comfortable, and enjoying themselves.
