Arrival in Budapest
You'll land at Budapest International Airport and head to your hotel by transfer. Check-in opens at 14:00, so once you get settled in your room, the rest of the day is yours to spend however you like. Take time to get oriented, grab a bite to eat, or just relax after your flight.

Budapest City and Danube River Tour
Meet up at 10:00 for a 3-hour city bus tour that covers Budapest's main sights from the streets. After that, you'll head down to the Danube for a 1-hour river cruise, which gives you a completely different perspective on the city. It's a good way to see both the architectural highlights and get a feel for how the water shapes the landscape.

- Day 3
Danube Bend Full-Day Tour
This is a full day heading out to the Danube Bend region. You'll visit Szentendre, an artist village with narrow streets and galleries, then continue to Esztergom Basilica. Lunch includes a 3-course Hungarian meal somewhere along the way. Coming back to Budapest happens by boat during summer weekends when water levels are good, or by coach other times of year depending on conditions.

Departure from Budapest
Pack your things and check out of the hotel before noon. Arrange your transfer to the airport ahead of time, making sure it's scheduled for at least 4 hours before your flight takes off. That gives you enough buffer time to get through check-in and security without rushing.
