    Asked on May 9th, 2026

Can this package start on 16 May instead? My wife and I will likely arrive in Tashkent on 16 May. Alternatively, I am looking at possible itinerary as follows: D1 (17 May) - Tashkent to Chimgan Trek (Aksakata River Valley) D2 (18 May) - Chimgan Trek (Kumbel Pass) D3 (19 May) - Chimgan Trek (Charvak Reservoir) to Tashkent D4 (20 May) - Tashkent to Samarkand D5 (21 May) - Samarkand to Silk Road Grandeur D6 (22 May) - Samarkand to Nuratau Villages D7 (23 May) - Naratau Village to Aydar Lake to Yurt Camp D8 (24 May) - Aydar to Bukhara D9 (25 May) - Bukhara to Khiva D10 (26 May) - Khiva D11 (27 May) - Khiva to Tashkent

As the requested travel date is very close, it is unfortunately not possible for us to organize all the services properly. This itinerary includes several destinations, trekking arrangements, accommodation, transport, and local services, all of which require more time to arrange.

In addition, the boutique and comfortable hotels we usually work with are not available for these dates, and our experienced guides are already booked.

    Rebecca

    Asked on September 7th, 2025

I was wondering 1) what is the difficulty level of the hiking (is it very steep climbs and along cliffs, edges) & 2) Price for a single person (as I know this is different).

    Tour Details
    • Responsible TravelOperatorWritten September 2025

The tour is rated 4 out of 5 on the physical scale. This means it involves challenging hikes with some steep ascents and long walking days, but without extreme cliff edges or technical climbing. It is suitable for active travelers with a good level of fitness. That said, the program can also be adapted to your requirements if needed.

    • R

      Rebecca

      TravelerWritten September 2025

I can do long walking days but steep ascents can be a problem (I freeze up with fear, unfortunately, and need some extra coaxing at that point)... so I'm not sure if there's a way to work around that?
