Salvador
You'll arrive in Salvador and get a transfer to your hotel. Take the rest of the day to settle in and get your bearings. It's a good time to rest up after traveling and walk around your immediate area if you feel like it.

Salvador
After breakfast, you'll head out on a full-day Salvador city tour that covers Bahia's key attractions. The Lacerda Elevator kicks things off with panoramic views over the city, and from there you'll check out the busy Mercado Modelo with its local goods and energy. Next comes the historic Church of Bonfim, followed by a stop at Forte Mont Serrat for some coastal views. You'll also see the Fonte Nova Arena before heading to the Tororó Dam, where Tati Moreno's striking Orixá sculptures celebrate Afro-Brazilian culture and religious traditions. Lunch happens at a local restaurant in the city center, so you get a real sense of how Salvador tastes and feels.

Salvador to Praia do Forte
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll check out and take a transfer to Praia do Forte, a coastal village with clear water and white sand beaches. The area also has an ecological reserve known for its work with endangered sea turtles.

- Days 4 - 5
Praia do Forte
You have two full free days here. Spend them relaxing on the beach or exploring the surrounding area however you'd like. If you're interested in activities, there are options like whale watching (July through October), hiking trails in Reserva da Sapiranga, or visiting the Tamar Project to see sea turtle rescue and rehabilitation work.
