- Day 1
Lima
You'll touch down in Lima this evening, and a transfer takes you straight to your hotel. It's your first night in South America, so settle in and get some rest before the adventure really kicks off tomorrow.
- Day 2
Lima to Paracas
Start your morning with a city tour of Lima's historic old town, walking through colonial plazas and architecture before heading to the modern Miraflores district with its ocean views. The Larco Museum takes up a good portion of your day, showcasing an impressive collection of pre-Incan artifacts that really give you a sense of Peru's ancient civilizations. After that, you'll drive south along the Panamericana highway toward Paracas, arriving at a quiet coastal town where you can settle in and relax by evening.

Paracas to Ica
Head out early for a boat trip to the Ballestas Islands, where you'll see sea lions, penguins, and seabirds up close. From there, the drive to Ica takes you past the Huacachina oasis, where you can choose to book an optional buggy tour through the sand dunes if you're feeling adventurous.

Ica to Nazca
Spend your morning at the Maria Reiche Museum learning about the preservation efforts behind the famous Nazca Lines. Nazca to Arequipa
Continue south on the Panamericana with a stop at the pre-Inca cemetery of Chauchilla, where you can explore tombs and mummies from the Nazca culture and see how they were preserved over centuries. Around lunchtime, you'll eat at Puerto Inka before heading on toward Arequipa, giving you time to take in more coastal and desert landscape along the way.

Arequipa to Puno
This morning starts with a city tour of Arequipa, known as the White City because of its white volcanic rock architecture throughout. You'll spend time at the Santa Catalina monastery complex, which is well-preserved and worth taking your time with. After that, the drive to Puno takes you through Andean landscapes and small villages. The route covers about 320 km, so you're looking at several hours on the road, but the scenery makes it worthwhile.

Puno - Floating Islands of the Uros
Head to Llachon village on the Capachica peninsula in Lake Titicaca to experience daily life among the Quechua people and learn about their traditions and customs. After that, travel to the famous floating islands of the Uros, which are constructed entirely from dried reeds and actually float on the water. It's a unique way to see how people have adapted to living on the lake for generations.

Puno to Ollantaytambo

Ollantaytambo - Machu Picchu
Your day in the Sacred Valley starts at the fortress of Ollantaytambo, where you can walk around and see the Inca construction up close. From there, you board a train that runs through the Urubamba Valley, heading toward Machu Picchu. Once you arrive, you'll walk through the ancient Inca ruins and take in the site itself. It's a full day that combines history, scenery, and the actual experience of being there.

Urubamba Valley to Cuzco
Travel to the mountain village of Huilloc in Urubamba province where you'll eat lunch with the community and get a real sense of how people live in these highlands. Later, head to the market in Chinchero to browse textiles, jewelry, and fresh produce. You'll learn how wool gets processed into traditional Peruvian garments, and there's time for a pisco tasting to understand Peru's national drink before arriving in Cuzco.

Cuzco

The rest of your day is free to spend as you like, maybe grabbing coffee in Plaza de Armas or booking an optional excursion to Maras and Moray to see salt mines and circular terraces.

You have a free day to explore Cuzco at your own pace, checking out lively markets and browsing the artists' quarter near San Blas for alpaca wool souvenirs and handicrafts. If you're up for it, there's an optional early morning full-day excursion to the Rainbow Mountains with breakfast provided and about a two-hour hike to 4,980 m elevation through Andean landscape. You'll return to your hotel in the late afternoon, then conclude with a farewell dinner.
