The guides made the experience fantastic, with great willingness to assist in both English and Spanish. We were lucky to have perfect weather, and everything went smoothly.   This tour was very organized, the guides were great, there was so much included to see. I appreciated having two guides, one for English speakers and one for Spanish speakers, which helped everything run much more smoothly. Most every day is busy from early morning to night, so you have to be up for the pace. I appreciated all we saw because of the pace, my boyfriend would have preferred to stay at each site a bit longer, with a slower pace and more relaxation time. Pros and cons - all in all it was a great tour that gives one a taste of the culture and values of Japan.Show more

  I certainly appreciated the number of places I was able to see on this tour, and the guides were nice and knowledgeable. I had two major complaints. The tour guides were very difficult to understand (they were all Spanish speakers with English as a secondary/tertiary language), which made it difficult to know when to be back on the bus or meet in a specific place. Secondly, the tour is broken up into multiple pieces. That means changing tour guides every few days. That also means that your fellow travelers change frequently, so it's hard to make friends. There was only one family of 5 that were with me on the whole trip. Everyone else lasted anywhere from one shared day up to 3/4 of the trip.Show more

  As far as the trip, hotels, busses, and activities was great. The problem I had the most with the company Europamund was I picked English, and it was both English and Spanish. Another problem with them they don't Communicate with their customers promptly. There was issues in the itinerary that they didn't follow for example they took us to gion it says the return to hotel will be FREE, it's not free return. Don't put free if your not giving people a ride back, second of all a dinner for one night didn't get they claimed its because we stayed at a different hotel. The hotels need to be booked ahead of time so when you send out the itinerary it should have all the deals, and last the transportation shuttle never showed when they told me so I had to get a taxi. I want to shout out a big Thank you to all the tour guides Dave Solanes, Akane, Ken and Luis you all did a great job. A special shout to David Solanes we started out with you the group for English and had a great time. I was lucky enough to end my trip with you. I know I was the only English at the end and you did your best to talk and explain things while the other tour guild was talking over the load speaker in Spanish. It. Was very frustrating for me with the Spanish. As a company you should lesson to your Customers and your tour guides to make the company better. To all my tour guides thank you I appreciate you all ✌️❤️. Regarding the itinerary, when passengers have free time, return transfers to the hotel are not included. In such cases, guests may need to arrange a taxi for their return. This policy is communicated in advance, and we always strive to clarify any changes or additional details during the tour to ensure everything is clear.   Although it was cut short due to the covid-19 virus, it was great up until then, including the guides, the hotels, the meals, and the places visited. Unfortunately, several of the scheduled stops were closed, but the guides tried to make up for them, some more successfully than others. (Skip the mall visit in the future. :-) I liked the fact that it was quite busy, although there was still enough free time, too. And Ken, in particular, was very helpful in regard to making arrangements for flights, trains, etc., to get home quickly. I don't know how well it would have worked if there had been 50 of us instead of 10, though.Show more
