We just finished this tour and I wanted to chime in to say we had a GREAT time. Our guide was amazing and knowledgeable, and it was perfect for first timers who felt overwhelmed trying to plan on our own. Ages in our group ranged from 30-75, and we got along smashingly. We averaged 17k steps per day and saw so much! We always got 4-6 suggestions for meals and our free time, and Aska (the guide) would take suggestions too. So if you were into a particular food, had an allergy, wanted to hike, or wanted to see art, she could point you in the right direction. We had great camaraderie in our group and everyone was supportive of having an amazing trip. Aska provided cultural, historical, and social information in addition to getting us around towns and cities—she also scaffolded us to get around on our own.Show more

- G AdventuresOperator•Written February 2025
Rooming is on a twin-share basis, and if you are two on the same booking, you will have the option to select either twin-share beds or a matrimonial bed in good to go, so yes you will be able to select twin beds.

Internal flights are only confirmed a number of days before the tour starts but it will be a local air carrier of Japan.
- G AdventuresOperator•Written February 2025
The day usually fully starts after breakfast, there is no specific time each day on the itinerary because it depends on the group and how many activities are included for the day. Usually, the CEO advises the groups the night before of the next morning start time.
