Itinerary
- Day 1
South Bali/Ubud to Belulang
You'll get picked up from your hotel in South Bali or Ubud and drive about 90 minutes through tropical landscapes to reach Belulang village. Start with a gentle 30-minute walk through lush vegetation, then you'll see how locals prepare traditional Jamu herbal drinks and explore the herb and spice garden before cooking a traditional Balinese meal together. After lunch, head to Balikaru Farm to check out the orchid garden, visit the Trigona beekeeping operation, learn about rice farming, and try traditional bamboo instruments. The day wraps up with a relaxing walk through the village followed by a soak in the natural hot sulphur spring.

- Lunch (Traditional Balinese meal prepared during cooking class including Base Genap (yellow spice paste), Tum Ayam (stewed chicken with spices in banana leaves), Sate Lilit (grilled chopped fish satay), Sayur Urap (mixed vegetables with herb paste and coconut), Tempe Kacang Ikan Teri (small fried dried salted fish), Sayur Paku (steamed fern vegetables), and Lak Lak (Balinese dessert made from rice flour, palm sugar and grated coconut))

- Day 2
Belulang
Head to Pura Luhur Batukaru temple situated on the slopes of Mt. Batukaru, then start a 2.5-hour guided hike through the protected Batukaru Nature Reserve with its thick tropical rainforest, enormous plants, towering trees and flowing rivers. A local ranger teaches you forest survival techniques along the way. You'll return for lunch featuring traditional nasi campur tumpeng at Warung Balikaru, then change into Balinese temple uniforms for a purification and blessing ceremony at Pura Beji Pucak led by a temple priest. Learn to weave offering bowls and decorate them with flowers. After that, continue to Jatiluwih to see the UNESCO World Heritage rice terraces and visit Yeh Hoo waterfall before heading back to your hotel.

- Day 3
Belulang to Munduk
After breakfast, drive through the mountain region and stop at a colorful fruit and vegetable market where you can explore exotic products and take photos. Grab lunch at a local restaurant, then head to Ulun Danu Temple, which sits against a beautiful backdrop of Lake Bratan and surrounding mountains. You'll arrive at your resort in the afternoon with time to yourself. Relax with a cool drink while watching the sunset over the mountain landscape.

Munduk
Have breakfast on the resort restaurant terrace, then spend the day moving at your own pace. You can choose from relaxing and getting optional spa treatments in the wellness area, bird watching in the peaceful surroundings, nature walks through lush gardens, or yoga and meditation sessions. The resort has plenty of activities available depending on what appeals to you.

Munduk to South Bali
Go canoeing on Lake Tamblingan, a calm volcanic lake surrounded by green forests. After freshening up at the hotel, head to lunch at a restaurant overlooking the hills, valleys and sea. On the drive back to South Bali, you'll stop at Taman Ayun temple. You'll arrive back at your South Bali hotel around 4:30pm, wrapping up the trip.
