Guides were really good and very flexible. Transfers to and from the airport were seamless. The only issue was the train from Vientiane to Luang Prabang, we were not advised that we were unable to take open bottles in our luggage, so two almost full bottles of spirits were confiscated which had a value of around AUD140. I would also suggest in future that the train should be first class, our second-class trip was a nightmare. The carriage was totally full with other passengers taking our seats and refusing to move. Apart from the train issues, we had a lovely trip and enjoyed the free time afforded.Show more

The journey across provinces was comfortable and well planned. We loved the combination of cultural visits, like the Buddha Park in Vientiane, and natural wonders, like Kuang Si Waterfalls in Luang Prabang. - For any tour departing before June 15th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 15th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with VietLong Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and VietLong Travel will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
