  The tour was Okay. It was very hectic with too many early starts and late evenings which collectively meant you were often tired. At times you were left in the middle of a city (free time) for over 8 hours. This was far too long as you could not venture far for fear of getting lost. You do not have the language to do very much nor the knowledge to know where to go. So, the free time was really a waste of time. At other times, too much time was allocated for lunch etc. This added to the burden of increased travel times and late evenings resulting in weariness. I believe no genuine attempt was made to pick up at the airport even after some time was spent ensuring the pickup would be smooth. Eventually, there was no pickup. I heard this was also a problem for others. Spain was good, Morrocco was different although marred by the fact that that you were always on the lookout for being ripped off, stuff stolen (others had money stollen) and paying huge amounts for extra activities.Show more

  We have travelled with Europamundo previously; however, this trip was not as good as expected. The pick-up from Barcelona airport did not happen. The plane arrived on time and we were at the pick-up point 1 and 1/4 hours after arrival which was very fast given the number of people who were being processed. We waited 1/4 of an hour before contacting Europamundo. Initially, they said they would pick us up after checking with the manager. We then received a call to say that the driver only waited 1 hour from the time of arrival and then leaves. This is a problematic explanation because it does not take into account processing time at all. There is no way that anyone can be processed within an hour of arrival and then reach the pick-up point after collecting baggage. We believe no effort was made to pick us up. During the tour we were left unattended in the middle of a large city, without language to walk around in free time for up to 8 and 1/2 hours. We were told the bus would pick us up at a designated time at a designated place. Although free time is appreciated, the length of that free time was outrageously too long. This happened three times. Each time we decided to make our own way back to the hotel. On one occasion it took us 2 hours. Another older couple became lost and arrived back at the hotel at 1:00am in the morning. This is not the tour guide's problem. It is a significant problem with the tour itinerary which does not recognise the limitations of no language, no orientation and no thought for the length of time people have to fend for themselves. The hotels were good, the bus drivers excellent and the local guides excellent. In fact, overall, the local guides were better than the tour guides, although the tour guides were not bad. One other significant criticism is that on a large number of occasions the days were too long. I understand that we travelled a lot of distance on some days, However, the amount of 'free-time' included on those days could have been shortened to decrease the length of the travelling day.Show more

  1.Europamundo promised a detailed itinerary for "Spain, Morocco and Portugal 5/7/26-5/25/26" and did not deliver on showing many of what they said they would show. The distances travelled and the itinerary posted did not permit for a fulfilling tour of beautiful places. We were rushed from site to site, bathroom to bathroom, handling our own luggage, and trapped at most of the hotels that were far from sites. For example, in Valencia, first we were told to eat somewhere, and afterwards we would get our tour of the center; in Alicante, no time to explore Castle of Santa Barbara, the bus tour of Lisbon was "move to the other side of the bus to take a fleeting picture of a monument" We did not stay 45 minutes in Estremoz , as per the detailed itinerary, instead just 30. Had we stayed longer we could have visited the church, instead of rushing back to Madrid. 2. Most of the hotels were so far from tourist places of interest with the result we felt trapped. Hotels poorly located were: Barcelona Ibis Styles Barcelona; Rabat Helnan Chellah Rabat; Marrakech Adam Park; Lisbon Acta Moa. Plus, by providing the hotel addresses so last minute, a traveler could not plan ahead as to how best to utilize free time. 3. I would not recommend a tour to Morocco or Portugal added onto this itinerary. The ferry and waiting to cross the Strait of Gibraltar was a nightmare. We were one of 5 English speaking clients in a bus filled with Spanish speakers . Our English guide lacked historical and artistic knowledge of the places and geography and spoke for three minutes to the Spanish speaking guide's 10 minutes to his Spanish speaking clients. Casablanca had few sites of historical interest and more time should have been spent elsewhere. We were told to go to the bathroom at a McDonald's. In Marrakech, the 40 minute Kalesa carriage ride went no where near the Jemaa el Fnaa Market Square, just lots of garbage. In Ait Benhaddou the guide spoke for 3 minutes then rushed to a lunch area close by. Had we been advised of the time schedule, we could have adjusted our plans and climbed up to this jewel. Per the detailed itinerary we did not visit Azrou the House of Cedars which had been closed for months. Nor did the bus stop in Midelt at all. In Fez the local tour guide stranded us to hear high pressure sales to buy carpets and cosmetics, and took an attitude when I requested that he slow down his English speaking commentary.so I could better understand him and appreciate his commentary. 4. A bus tour of these listed sights, many of which were not seen, cannot be accomplished in the way Europamundo set forth. Pick a tour more thoughtfully planned, with tour operators who have a passion for what they do, where you get a little help with your luggage. Do not recommend this tour. Paula and Gary N. As indicated in our travel conditions, itineraries may occasionally be adjusted by the tour leaders or due to operational circumstances beyond our control. These changes are made when necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the tour. Regarding hotel locations, our General Conditions explain that hotels are selected within the destination city and may be centrally located, near the center, or in more peripheral areas, depending on availability and operational requirements. However, they are always chosen with access to public transportation to facilitate travel to the city center whenever possible. With respect to luggage handling, we would also like to clarify that passengers are responsible for transporting their own luggage between the coach and the hotel, as is stated in the tour conditions. We regret that some visits and the overall pace of the tour did not align with your expectations. We understand that every traveler has a different travel style, and while our itineraries are designed to showcase a wide variety of destinations within the available time, we recognize that this may sometimes result in limited time at certain locations.   Went to Spain. Morocco and Portugal. Beautiful views. Met nice people from over the world and places visited. Morocco was an eye opening. The tour guides Uma, Eyub, Nayim were the best explaining their costumes. Tour guides in Spain Hiren, Alejandro, female locals guides from Seville and Madrid that can't recall their names now were great and funny. Had an issue with a guide coming back from Portugal to Madrid was a long trip and had a smaller bus. We were cramped in the back while he had an available seat next to him and an empty seat by the driver and he couldn't give it to anyone. That was a very uncomfortable and hot drive back for many hrs even though stop for breaks. Would have given 5 stars but this was really bad for our sore backs. If u are willing to travel sometimes fast pace, getting up early and changing hotels, buses, people constantly this could be for you with Europamundo. Some foods and transportation are not included so be prepared for that too.Show more

  Despite good arrangement and having good infrastructure, some actions were found missing to make the tour more enjoyable. On the commencement day of tour, the tour leader should have convened meeting with the members. Last minute instructions could have been passed on by forming WhatsApp group. However, overall experience was good.Show more

  This is the First time that I had taken a trip with Europamundo. The First impression was not good. The transfer from Barcelona Airport to the hotel was included in the tour package . Unfortunately We had a delay of a bag in one of our travellers at the airport and even though I have informed the taxi driver who came to pick us about the delay in the baggage, he left us not informing about his decision. Later on I was informed by the Taxi company to find my own way to the hotel. Europamundo did not take care of health and well being of the passengers. From the day One there were travellers coughing inside the bus. I have travelled with few other tour operators and I noted that the other tour operators take the health and safety of the passengers seriously. They advised the coughing travels to wear masks and hand sanitisers were provided. Nothing of that nature were noted. At the end of the tour almost all the passengers were coughing and sick, including me. I honestly think that when you organise a such a big tour with 41 stations with a bus load of passengers, they should have made 1/2 day rest in the middle of the tour for the passengers to recover, take more serious precautions about travel illness. I believe that Tourradar as a tour organiser did there part well, but all the responsibility is with the Tour Operator Europamundo. I am not keen on travelling with Europamundo again.Show more

Regarding the transfer from Barcelona Airport, our standard protocol, clearly communicated before booking, is that passengers should inform us of any delays so that we can reschedule the service. In this case, the transfer arrived as scheduled, but we were not notified about the delayed baggage, so we could not adjust the transfer. Please note that we always monitor and follow up to ensure transfers run smoothly. Concerning health and safety on the bus, we always encourage passengers to act responsibly by wearing masks and taking precautions, but ultimately these decisions are up to each individual. We were not informed that any passengers were ill during the tour; had we known, we would have immediately opened a medical case and provided assistance. We understand your concerns regarding the tour’s pace and the number of stops. Your suggestions regarding rest periods and preventive measures are valuable, and we will review them to continue improving the experience for future guests.   The tour felt more like a ferry service than a tour! In 23 days, we had nine changes of tour guides, multiple changes of passengers and buses, which caused lots of conflict due to cultural issues. Some groups we encountered were so rude, bad mannered,eg. taking two seats for each in a group of nine, taking over half of the bus! Tour guides didn’t address this issue! Bilingual tours were a nightmare! Took too long when 2 languages were spoken! Accents were hard to understand, especially when the non English speaking people didn’t stop talking when the English was spoken!Show more
