- Day 1
Madrid
You'll get picked up from the airport and head to your hotel to settle in. The rest of the day is yours to relax or explore on your own. Later in the evening, a transfer takes you to Plaza Mayor and La Latina, where you can pick from various restaurants for dinner and check out the local tapas scene.

- Day 2
Madrid
This morning starts with a guided tour through central Madrid, walking past Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, Puerta de Alcalá, Plaza de Colón, and Plaza Mayor. After that, you'll head to Retiro Park to see its lake and the glass palace. The afternoon includes a visit to Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, home of Real Madrid. You'll have free time after, then get transferred back to your hotel.

Madrid - Granada
You leave Madrid early heading south through La Mancha, stopping in Puerto Lápice, a small village that feels like Don Quixote country. Moving into Andalusia, you'll arrive in Granada where lunch is provided. If you've chosen the Alhambra option, the afternoon is spent exploring the palace and Generalife Gardens with a local guide.

- Day 4
Granada - Malaga - Marbella - Ronda - Seville
Heading from Granada toward the Costa del Sol, you'll stop in Malaga to walk through the historic district and see the cathedral and Picasso Museum. The route then follows the coast with Mediterranean views, passing through Puerto Banús in Marbella. From there, you head inland into the mountains to reach Ronda, a white town sitting on a dramatic canyon. You arrive in Seville in the evening with dinner included.

Seville
A morning city tour shows you Seville's cathedral with its famous Giralda tower, the banks of the Guadalquivir River, and the charming neighborhoods of Santa Cruz and Triana. After the tour, you'll take an included boat ride on the Guadalquivir for views from the water. The evening offers an optional flamenco tablao if you're interested.

- Day 6
Seville - Merida - Evora
You depart Seville and travel through rolling hills and open countryside toward Extremadura. In Mérida, you'll see the Archaeological Ensemble with its Roman Theater and Amphitheater, both part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There's time for lunch and to walk around the lively historic center. Later, you continue into Portugal to Évora, another UNESCO site, where you can explore white streets, Renaissance palaces, and the cathedral on your own.

Évora - Marvão - Castelo de Vide - Tomar - Fátima
Traveling through the Alentejo landscapes, you stop in Marvão, a walled town with fantastic views over the region. Then comes Castelo de Vide with its castle, plus time to see the old Jewish quarter and a medieval synagogue turned museum. After lunch, you head to Tomar to visit the Convent of Christ, a former Templar stronghold. A stop in Aljustrel shows the village where three shepherds reported seeing the Virgin Mary, including visits to Lucia's house. You arrive in Fátima with free time at the Sanctuary and dinner included.

Fátima - Porto
You travel north to Porto, arriving around 11:00 a.m. Right away, you'll board a 50-minute cruise on the Douro River in a traditional Portuguese Rabelo boat for unique views of the city. After that, free time lets you explore the Ribeira district with its narrow streets, old merchant houses, and local cafés.

- Day 9
Porto - Braga - Guimaraes - Bom Jesus - Pinhao - Coimbra
Starting in Braga, Portugal's religious capital, you'll visit the historic cathedral. Then you ascend to the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus using the world's oldest cable car and can come down the impressive staircase. Next is Guimarães, Portugal's first capital, where you'll see the magnificent Palace of the Dukes. After lunch surrounded by vineyards, you descend into the Douro Valley passing Sabrosa, where Magellan was born. In Pinhão, explore the charming train station with traditional tiles and take a one-hour river cruise (or scenic drive with viewpoints from November to March). You arrive in Coimbra with dinner included.

Coimbra - Batalha - Nazare - Obidos - Lisbon
In Coimbra, Portugal's third-largest city, you'll explore the historic university and walk through steep charming streets. Continuing south, you'll stop at the impressive Batalha Monastery, a medieval royal mausoleum. There's time for lunch and a visit to Nazaré, a fishing town and seaside resort where an elevator takes you up to the old city with impressive ocean views. Before reaching Lisbon around 7:30 p.m., you'll stop in picturesque Óbidos with its white streets filled with flowers.

A morning sightseeing tour takes you through Lisbon across its seven hills, past charming alleys and beautiful tiles in the Atlantic light. You'll visit the Belem neighborhood where Portuguese navigators set sail in the 15th century. The afternoon is free to explore the Bairro Alto neighborhood and its viewpoints, or you can take an optional day trip to Sintra, Cascais, and Estoril. In the evening, you return to your hotel from Restauradores Square, a lively area with bars and cafés.
