- Day 1
Rome
Your arrival in Rome starts with a transfer to your hotel, and your guide meets you that evening to go over the key details about your time here. After that, you'll head to Via Cavour where the neighborhood has plenty of restaurants to choose from depending on what kind of food you're in the mood for.

- Day 2
Rome
A three-hour guided tour gets your day going, mixing walking through Imperial Rome with a bus ride that shows you the big picture. You'll pass by the Arch of Constantine, see the Colosseum from outside, walk through the Imperial Forums, and check out the Circus Maximus, Baths of Caracalla, Basilica of Saint Mary Major, Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant'Angelo. By around 11:00 a.m., the tour finishes up at Vatican City. Later on, you'll get transferred to Trastevere for dinner and head back to your hotel around 8:30 p.m.

- Day 3
Rome to Florence
You'll travel north from Rome through nice countryside to reach Florence. The first stop is Piazzale Michelangelo where you can take in the views of the city from above, then you'll walk down toward the center. After grabbing lunch on your own, a local guide takes you through a walking tour hitting Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, and Piazza della Signoria. You've got free time to wander around this open-air museum, and plenty of restaurants are right there when you're ready for dinner.

Florence to Venice
The drive toward Venice takes you across the Apennines with mountain scenery the whole way. Once you arrive, you'll take a boat across the Giudecca Canal to get to the island. With a local guide, you'll visit St. Mark's Square, then head to the Murano Glass Factory to watch craftspeople work with glass using traditional methods. After that, you have free time to explore on your own, and you'll be staying in the Mestre district.
