Da Nang
You'll land at Da Nang International Airport and get picked up by private car for the drive to your hotel. The location works well since there are plenty of restaurants and food spots within walking distance, so finding dinner won't be difficult.

- Day 2
Da Nang
After breakfast at the hotel, head out at 8am toward Ba Na Hills. You'll ride the cable car system at Suoi Mo Station and then take the funicular up the mountain. Stop by D'Amour flower garden, Linh Ung Pagoda, and the Golden Bridge before grabbing a buffet lunch. The afternoon opens up for checking out Fantasy Park, French Village, and King Peak at your own pace before heading back.

Da Nang to Hue
Leave Da Nang at 8am and drive toward Hue. Along the route you'll pass through Hai Van Pass, a 21 km mountain pass with nice views, and stop at Lap An Lagoon and Lang Co Beach (over 10 km of white sand). Around 10:45am, see Khai Dinh Tomb, have lunch with local Hue cuisine, then spend the afternoon at Hue Imperial City exploring palaces and monuments, plus Thien Mu Pagoda. Drive back to Da Nang in the evening.

Da Nang to Hoi An
After breakfast, your bags get transferred ahead to Hoi An while you join a group tour to Son Tra Peninsula and Linh Ung Pagoda. From there, visit Marble Mountain and Stone Carving Village for some shopping. Grab lunch, then head to Cam Thanh for a basket boat trip through palm forest. Evening brings you to Hoi An Ancient Town to see Phuc Kien Pagoda, the Old House of Phung Hung, and the Japanese Bridge. Shop at the Central Market, have dinner, then participate in the candle lantern ritual on the Thu Bon River before checking into your hotel.

Hoi An to Ho Chi Minh City
Have breakfast and check out of your hotel. A car will take you to Da Nang Airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Once you land at Tan Son Nhat Airport, you'll be picked up and driven to your hotel in central District 1. Take the rest of the day to settle in and relax.

- Day 7
Ho Chi Minh City
Start your morning at Independence Palace (Reunification Palace), which was designed by architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue to see colonial buildings like Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office. Visit the War Remnants Museum to check out the detailed exhibits from the Indochina Wars. After lunch at a local restaurant, drive about 1.5 hours to Cu Chi Tunnels. You'll get a brief intro and video about how the tunnels were built, then explore the network including living spaces, kitchens, bedrooms, storage, weapons factories, hospitals, and command centers. See the hidden trap doors and defense systems. Have some special tea and cassava (the guerilla food from wartime), and if you want, try shooting at the range before heading back to the city.

Mekong Delta
Leave Ho Chi Minh City for My Tho on the Mekong River's left bank. Visit Vinh Trang Pagoda from the late 19th century, then board a sampan to cruise past the Four Islands: Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise. Stop at Unicorn Island to walk the countryside, look around orchards, taste fresh tropical fruit, and listen to local folk music. Take a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son Canal, see family businesses and a honey bee farm, and try honey tea and coconut candy. Lunch happens at a local spot. In the afternoon, cycle around Tan Thach Village to experience how locals live and meet people from the area (or relax in a hammock if cycling isn't for you). Then return to Ho Chi Minh City.
