- Day 1
Lahore to Multan
Start the journey from Lahore heading south toward Multan through Pakistan's historical heartland. Stop at Harappa to walk through ruins of the ancient Indus Valley Civilization, one of the world's oldest known civilizations from the Bronze Age. The site gives you a sense of how this civilization thrived thousands of years ago. Continue driving to Multan, where you'll arrive by evening and settle in for the night.

Multan
Spend the day in Multan exploring its Sufi heritage and spiritual sites. Head to the Shah Rukn-e-Alam shrine to see its ornate dome and decorations, then visit the shrine of Bahauddin Zakariya and the shrine of Shah Shams Tabriz. After that, wander through the vibrant Hussaini Aghahi Bazaar where you can find handicrafts, textiles and spices. Later in the afternoon, visit a blue tile and pottery factory to see traditional craftsmanship and how artisans work.

Uch Sharif to Bahawalpur
Travel to Uch Sharif, a historically significant city with roots going back to Alexander the Great. See well-preserved medieval architecture and shrines dedicated to Muslim mystics. Visit the Bibi Jawindi tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage site and outstanding example of southern Punjab's art and architecture. From there, head through the Cholistan Desert to Derawar Fort, an imposing fortress with 30-meter-high bastions built by the Rajput Bhati. End the day in Bahawalpur with a visit to Noor Mahal.

Bahawalpur to Sukkur
Travel from Punjab into Sindh province, and you'll notice the landscapes and cultural differences between regions change as you go. Stop at the Ayub Bridge in Sukkur, a major national landmark. See the historic Landsdowne Bridge, built in 1889 as an important rail link across the Indus River. Check out the Sukkur Dam, constructed between 1923 and 1932 during British rule to control irrigation and support agricultural production.

Sukkur to Larkana
After breakfast, head south to Kot Diji to explore the impressive medieval fortress built around 1790 by Mir Suhrab of the Talpur dynasty. It sits perched on a steep hill with great views of the surrounding area. Continue to Mohenjo-Daro, one of the largest and oldest settlements of the ancient Indus Valley civilization. Visit the museum there to see artifact-rich exhibits before traveling to Larkana for the night.

Visit Sehwan Sharif to see the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, an important pilgrimage site dedicated to the 13th-century Sufi poet and mystic. Continue to Bhit Shah to visit the shrine of Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai, a well-known Sindhi Sufi mystic from the 17th-18th centuries. He's remembered for his spiritually meaningful poems and songs. Travel to Hyderabad later, experiencing the deep spiritual connection and cultural diversity of Sindh's Sufi tradition along the way.

Explore Makli Hills, a UNESCO World Heritage Site housing one of the world's largest necropolises with almost 1 million tombs spanning 400 years. See Bhambore, an ancient city dating back to the 1st century, before arriving in Karachi in the evening.

After a relaxed breakfast, explore Karachi, Pakistan's largest and most diverse city. Visit the shrine of Abdullah Shah Ghazi, revered throughout Pakistan and born in Medina in 720 AD. Tour the National Museum of Pakistan to explore the country's cultural heritage and see what's on display. See the mausoleum of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan. Return to your hotel in the evening.
