- Day 1
Calgary
You'll arrive in Calgary and get settled at your hotel. Your tour director is on hand from 3 to 6 p.m. if you have questions or need help getting oriented to the city.
- Day 2
Calgary
Dress in your cowboy best and head to the Calgary Stampede Grounds. Your hotel sits right on the train line, so getting to Stampede Park is straightforward. The day offers plenty to see and do: check out Canadian First Nations culture at Elbow River Camp, try food at the Midway, catch entertainment stages throughout the grounds, walk through Western art exhibits, and watch the thrilling Chuckwagon Races. You'll finish the evening with an outdoor musical show.

Calgary
Start early with a pancake breakfast at Fluor Rope Square on Stephen Avenue Mall. After eating, head back to the Stampede Grounds to see anything you didn't get to yesterday. In the afternoon, go to the Grandstand for the Calgary Stampede Rodeo where you'll watch bull riding and other rodeo events. Square dancing, mock gun fights, and country entertainment keep things lively throughout the day.

Calgary to Banff National Park
This morning you'll tour Calgary's downtown, Fort Calgary, Stampede Park, the Saddledome, and Canada Olympic Park. After lunch, you'll head west into the Canadian Rockies toward Banff National Park for a two-night stay. An orientation tour helps you get your bearings once you arrive.

- Day 5
Banff National Park
You have the day to explore Banff on your own schedule. Hiking, horseback riding, golfing, and fishing are all available. If you want something more adventurous, you can opt for a helicopter ride with views of the Rocky Mountains, or join the optional Panoramas and Peaks excursion to Moraine Lake in the Valley of the Ten Peaks.

Banff National Park - Lake Louise - Columbia Icefield - Jasper National Park
You'll travel north through the Canadian Rockies, taking in gorges, snowcapped mountains, and turquoise lakes along the way. A stop at Lake Louise lets you see its pristine turquoise waters up close. Later, you'll reach the Columbia Icefield for an Ice Explorer ride on 750-foot-thick ice. An optional float trip down the Athabasca River is available before you arrive in Jasper for your orientation tour.

- Day 7
Jasper National Park
Jasper is yours to explore. You can take an optional narrated cruise on Maligne Lake to spot the iconic Spirit Island, or spend your time on guided hikes, browsing local shops, or watching for wildlife in the area.

Jasper to Prince George
You'll leave Jasper and follow the Fraser River toward the base of Mount Robson, the highest peak in Canada's Rockies at almost 13,000 feet. From there, you'll continue on to Prince George, the province's northern capital, where you'll spend the night.

Prince George - Smithers - Prince Rupert
You'll board VIA Rail's Skeena train for an all-day journey through the Coast Mountains. The route follows the Skeena River along ancient First Nations trading routes and historic fur trading paths. Watch for bald eagles, black bears, moose, and other wildlife during the ride. You'll arrive in Prince Rupert in the evening for a two-night stay.

Prince Rupert
Start with an orientation tour of Prince Rupert. Then you'll visit the North Pacific Cannery National Historic Site for a guided tour of British Columbia's oldest cannery village. You'll learn about the historic canning process and what life was like during peak production. The rest of the afternoon is free for you to explore on your own.

Prince Rupert to Port Hardy
Early morning brings one of the world's most beautiful ocean voyages through the Inside Passage. You'll see towering mountains, roaring waterfalls, endless islands, and virgin rainforests while watching for sea lions, porpoises, and possibly killer whales. You'll arrive in Port Hardy late in the evening.

Port Hardy to Victoria
You'll depart Port Hardy early and follow the eastern coastline of Vancouver Island through Campbell River, known as the Salmon Capital of the World. There's a stop in Chemainus, a unique village with more than 30 murals depicting the pioneer settlement of the area. You'll arrive in Victoria in the late afternoon.

Victoria
Morning sightseeing includes the Inner Harbour, Bastion Square, and Thunderbird Park with its collection of totem poles. The rest of the day is yours to explore this charming city. You could have high tea at the Empress Hotel, visit the Royal British Columbia Museum, or take an optional excursion to Butchart Gardens with its 55 acres of floral displays. By evening, you can take a relaxing walk along the Waterfront Promenade.

You'll sail across the Strait of Georgia through the scenic Gulf Islands, which have a Mediterranean-like climate. When you reach Vancouver, a city tour shows you Stanley Park, Chinatown, the harbour, and other highlights. The evening is yours to spend however you'd like, whether that's trying Vancouver's restaurants or just relaxing.
