    You'll arrive in Lima and check into your contemporary beachfront hotel for a two-night stay. The city has a serious food reputation, with restaurants and galleries throughout, plus plenty of museums to explore when you're ready.

    Lima

    A local guide takes you through Lima's mix of old and new. You'll walk past colonial architecture, stop at cathedrals and convents, check out the San Isidro financial district, then head to the Larco Museum. Lunch happens during the tour, so you won't need to hunt for a place to eat.

    On foot through Cuzco's cobblestone streets, you'll see ancient Incan walls next to colonial whitewashed buildings and Baroque palaces.
