How many of the excursions are optional? I don't want to buy the tour and find out most are additional costs!

All excursions on the tour are optional, which means they are completely add-on experiences that you may choose to join if you wish. They are not included in the main tour price, and you are never required to join them. This simply allows you the flexibility to personalise your trip and only pay for the experiences you decide to take part in while on tour.

Can we have three people to one room?

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate three adults in one room. Our tours are based on twin or single room arrangements only. For three travellers, this would require: One twin room + one single room (single supplement applied).

My friend and I would like to travel on the 3/15/26 trip but it appears to be sold out. He is currently registered for the 3/8 trip. Is there any chance of increasing the group size to include us?

The March 15, 2026 departure of our Ireland in Low Season Tour is actually a Cancelled Departure which is why it was take out and showing as "Sold Out" to ensure that there will be no bookings for that date. Our March 8, 2026 Departure on the other hand has a couple of availability more and is a confirmed departure.

As your tour is scheduled for 2026, the official hotel details are not yet available. Based on previous timelines, we expect this information to be confirmed around late December or early January. Once the hotel details are officially available, we will share them with you immediately.

Would I be able to share a room with another person on the trip? How much is a single supplement if I have to go that route?

We can definitely room you to another passenger even if you are on separate bookings. If you are unable to find someone who can travel with you, you can also opt for a single supplement (priced at $645 USD on top of the published tour price). If ever you decide not to add a single supplement (private room upgrade), we will follow our standard rooming process where we will assign you into a twin sharing room with another solo traveller of the same gender.

The food was enjoyable, and although the schedules were pretty packed with a few typical delays, everything generally went smoothly. If you do not book the optional excursion, Day 4 remains a free day in Killarney and you may choose to explore independently.
