- Day 1
Ho Chi Minh City to My Tho
Hotel pickup happens around 9:30 am and you'll head to the Welcome Lounge before joining other passengers traveling to My Tho. Once you board your river cruise ship, there's time to get familiar with what's available on board and catch a brief orientation talk. Your first day involves cruising along the riverside with stops at local ports, grabbing cocktails at the bar, and having dinner on the sun deck. The ship anchors near Cai Be for the night.

Landmarks My Tho Cai Be - Day 2
Tan Phong Island - Sa Dec - Tan Chau
Breakfast comes first on board, then you're off to a family craft workshop in Cai Be where you'll learn how rice paper, coconut sweets, and longan fruit are made. A smaller boat takes you to Tan Phong Island to check out a local orchard, taste tropical fruits, and take a buggy ride across the island. You'll also visit a family that does hand-weaving with water hyacinths. After lunch, the cruise continues to Sa Dec where a traditional sampan takes you through the canals of Binh Thanh Island. Walking through the village, you'll see traditional mat-making and might meet some local residents. By evening the ship heads toward Tan Chau for the night.

Tan Chau to Phnom Penh
Start in the small border town of Tan Chau experiencing the local atmosphere. Riding a traditional Xelois gives you a feel for local life, and you can visit the market. A tour of a Cao Dai temple includes meeting with a priest who explains their unique beliefs and spirituality. You'll also see a family-run fish farm. In the afternoon, head back to the ship where there's an optional Khmer cooking class if you want to learn traditional cuisine. The ship then sails toward the Cambodian border and pulls into Phnom Penh around 7 pm.

- Day 4
Phnom Penh
Phnom Penh's French colonial architecture comes into focus during a cycle rickshaw tour that passes the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda with their striking white and gold designs. You'll visit S21 prison, an important historical site from the Khmer Rouge period. Lunch at a local restaurant precedes time at the Sosoro history museum. Later there's a walk through the French Quarter and a stop at the Wat Phnom monument. Back on the ship, enjoy a barbecue dinner on the sun deck with a traditional Cambodian Apsara dance performance and Khmer musicians. An optional evening stroll along the waterfront finishes the day.

- Day 5
Kampong Tralach - Kampong Laeang
Early morning departure before sunrise heads toward the Tonle River, one of Cambodia's natural wonders. Around Kampong Tralach, you'll ride an oxcart along the riverbank and side roads past rice fields to a small village with aid projects to learn about. A 300-year-old temple and Buddha shrine are on the itinerary. After returning to the boat and having lunch, the crew shows traditional Khmer costumes. Moving to Kampong Laeang, a tuk-tuk takes you around to meet locals, see pottery-making, and visit a pre-Angkorian temple. Panoramic views of marshlands and rice fields fill the afternoon. The ship anchors in the river for the night.

Kampong Luang - Prek Bang Kong
Start by walking through Kampong Luang silversmith village where you'll watch artisans working with copper, silver and bronze. Then head to Wat Prang, a former royal Buddhist temple, and spend some time talking with monks about how they spend their days. After lunch, make your way to Prek Bang Kong village to see silk weavers at their looms and learn how traditional silk gets made. Later in the afternoon, visit the historic house of H.E. Sam-El, a famous royal architect. If you're interested, grab an optional sundowner cocktail by the pool before dinner.

Kampong Cham - Stueng Trang
Before dawn you depart toward Angkor Ban village, a pristine community with beautiful traditional houses that feels like stepping back in time. Breakfast in the dining room is followed by a visit to the monastery to meet monks during morning classes and chat with villagers for authentic local experiences. The ship continues to Kampong Cham, an important trading hub where you can see the seasonal bamboo bridge. Stueng Trang comes next as the final stop. Afternoon tea at the bar leads into sunset when the crew hosts a farewell dinner with music and dancing.

Stueng Trang to Siem Reap
Disembarkation from the river cruise happens around 9 am in Stueng Trang, then a road transfer takes you to Siem Reap, roughly a 4.5 hour drive. You'll arrive in the early afternoon and transfer to your hotel in Siem Reap where this tour ends. Note that during high water levels (typically August-September), disembarkation may happen in Siem Reap instead.
