Found Roar and Rove online, and Lahiru emailed within the hour. He carefully and in detail responded to all our emails about what we wanted and delivered all of it. We saw the Ceylon Blue Magpie, Green-billed Coucal, and Sri Lanka Chestnut-backed Owlet, along with 15 other species. The itinerary was incredibly detailed and carried out by top-rate drivers and guides. The accommodation was excellent and varied. Special mention to driver Asanka, guide Kesara, and the staff at Wilds Wilpattu, who delivered a three-course meal to the room during a thunderstorm. We were dropped at the airport in good time. When our flight was cancelled late at night and hotels were full with no help from the airline, Kesara came to the rescue, getting us a good hotel after midnight and coordinating everything until we finally left 40 hours later.Show more
